Live broadcasts from common buzzards
For the first time live broadcasts from common buzzards' nests started.
Common buzzard is the bird of the year 2015.
Three types of buzzards can be found in Estonia from which the most numerous one is the common buzzard (Buteo buteo). Buzzards usually come back to Estonia in March and April when they start building their nests. Most of the buzzards leave Estonia for winter in October.
The project is led by the Eagle Forum; Kernel and others are helping along. The video stream is synchronously distributed to thousands of users in the EENet server.
