On 8th January 2015 HITSA Supervisory Board endorsed EENet strategy for the years 2015-2020.

Vision

In 2020, the Estonian education, research and cultural institutions have an up-to-date, high-quality, safe and international IT infrastructure for their principal activity and co-operation.

Strategy 2015-2020

EENet has set itself the strategic goal: the need of the educational, research and cultural institutions for IT infrastructure has been met.

This encompasses EENet four courses of action:

• The development and management of the basic infrastructure according to the needs of the target group.
• Offering and developing modern e-services and digital tools to the target group
• IT councelling, dissemination and co-operation
• Enabling the international academic IT infrastructure and IT services to the target group.

EENet creates co-operation platform for the target group and helps to co-ordinate both international and inter-institution co-operation for developing the research, education and culture in Estonia. Full document in Estonian
