On April 12, 2013 EENet was transferred to the Estonian Information Technology Foundation EITF (in Estonian: Eesti Infotehnoloogia Sihtasutus).

EITF was renamed on 1 May 2013, and is now the

Information Technology Foundation for Education (HITSA)

(in Estonian: Hariduse Infotehnoloogia Sihtasutus),
registration code still 90005872, VAT no EE100816783.

EENet therefore operates now as a a structural unit of the HITSA and has its own statutes.

Please note that while EENet's office is as before located in Tartu, HITSA's main office is located in Tallinn.
