Estonia's Bird of the Year via Webcam: Tawny Owl
EENet has started to broadcast and stream webcam footage of a tawny owl nest cavity. The tawny owl (Strix aluco) has been chosen as 'Bird of the Year' for 2009 by the Estonian Ornithological Society (EOS). In this project, one of the main tasks of the EOS is to study the distribution of tawny owls with different colouration.
